Helping Hands for Wildlife is a self-funded project<\/strong>. We receive no government funding and are not financed by large organisations. Everything we do here is made possible by donations, sponsorships<\/strong> and people who care just as much about our animals as we do.<\/p>

To ensure we can care for our animals in the long term, we rely on regular support<\/strong>. Only in this way can we plan ahead, take in emergency cases and provide a safe, long-term home for the animals living with us.<\/p>

Helping Hands is what it is today because people have stood by us over many years, visited us and built a connection with this place<\/strong>. We are very grateful for that.<\/p>

The bulk of our monthly costs is for food \u2013 mainly fruit and vegetables for the monkeys, meat for the servals, and food for our dogs, pigs and horse.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Reintroduction into the wild requires a great deal of organisation and effort. Our little Buksie is fighting her way back to life<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Buksie was rescued after a serious attack that left her with life-threatening injuries. A complicated operation and intensive aftercare have given her a second chance. Thanks to her incredible will to live, she is making progress every day. Donations are now needed to cover the high veterinary costs and her ongoing treatment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Every day, we provide hundreds of rescued wild animals with fresh, species-appropriate food. A balanced diet is the foundation for their recovery and successful release back into the wild. The cost of fruit, vegetables, meat, milk powder and specialised food alone amounts to around \u20ac12,000 each year.
