Besonders berührend sind die Momente, in denen sie Nähe sucht: vorsichtige Berührungen, zarte Laute, fast wie kleine Liebesgesänge. Und doch bleibt sie, bei aller Verbundenheit, ein wildes Tier – das mit Respekt und Achtsamkeit begegnet werden möchte.

Coco is the lady by Zacky’s side and has been living with him on our farm for many years. When it comes to food, she’s every bit his equal – she loves the same treats and savours every meal with just as much enthusiasm.

When it comes to people, however, Coco is very selective. She tends to be rather reserved towards strangers and prefers to observe from a safe distance. She chooses very carefully who she trusts – but when that moment comes, she becomes all the more trusting, gentle and affectionate.

Then she really does become quite chatty: Coco ‘tells’ her stories loudly – sometimes cheerfully, sometimes almost plaintively. It seems as though she still remembers her difficult early years as a pet very well and expresses all of that in her own way.

Particularly touching are the moments when she seeks closeness: cautious touches, tender sounds, almost like little love songs. And yet, for all her affection, she remains a wild animal – one that needs to be treated with respect and care.
