Hope is a young bitch whom we found by the side of the road in February 2025 – in a terrible state and scarred by her life as a stray. We took her in at our farm, gave her veterinary treatment and nursed her back to health, and she began to recover and regain her trust surprisingly quickly.

When we found her, she was about 5 years old and had already had her first litter of puppies. On 25 December 2025, she gave birth to seven more puppies here – which was an absolutely lovely surprise. Two of them – Milele and President – have remained part of our farm family to this day.

Hope is a real little bundle of energy: cheeky, feisty and full of character. She chooses when to get close to you quite deliberately, but always shows her affectionate side too. She’s particularly proud of her little ‘thefts’ – her favourite is secretly snatching a piece of toast straight from your hand.

Hope embodies strength, the will to survive and the ability to regain trust in life despite everything.
